I discovered the world of photography when I was about nine years old when I won my first 110 camera. That camera, like most cameras of that type, wasn't much, but it's where I got my start.
Junior high classes introducded me to the technical aspects of shooting, developing and printing my own prints. A talented and passionate photography teacher and a well-equipped high school photography program provided an amazing environment to develop my photography both in the studio as well as the dark room.
One of the greatest opportunities to develop my personal photographic style and talent came to me in the form of a personal invitation by my high school photography teacher to photographer for the high school yearbook.
Although I took additional photography courses in college, my early high school experiences laid the true foundation for my love of photography.
Photography has worked its way into my multimedia development, advertising, and marketing careers as well.
